The Department of Ambulatory Medicine provides quality emergency and outpatient
health services, it consists of the following sections:
The ESS caters to patients requiring immediate and I or life-saving interventions. It applies the triage-referral system and is manned by competent resident physicians and nurses, trained to respond to disaster and rescue management, under the supervision of certified Emergency Room (ER) consultants who are available 24-hours dally.
The OPD consists of the following specialty clinics: Dentistry, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics
and Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Pediatrics and Surgery-Each clinic offers a wide range of services to patients of the clinical division, including regular
subspecialty clinics supervised by well-known specialists in different fields. The section
Is open from 8 am - 12 n (Mondays to Saturdays) and 1 - 5 pm (Mondays to Fridays).
The ASU offers medical and surgical diagnostic and therapeutic Interventions that do not
require admission. The services, which Include tissue biopsy, bone marrow aspiration,
chemotherapy and various minor surgical procedures, are done by framed and experienced surgeons, anesthesiologists and clinicians. The unit Is open to private individuals and card holders.
The PCC boasts of a holistic approach to patients with pain The staff consists of specialists
and nurses who are competent, and equally important, compassionate. The ASU and PCC are open from 8 am - 12 n and 1 - 5 pm (Mondays to Fridays) and on Saturdays by appointment.
