The Pulmonary Section is one of the most active in patient care. It renders 24-hr service in cardiopulmonary, ER calls, continuous laboratory for the support of the medical, surgical (pre, peri and post-operative) and pediatric intensive care units. It specializes in the diagnostic and therapeutic services that gives comprehensive ventilatory support to all patients requiring respiratory care at the bedside, outpatient needing nebulization and all patients referred from other hospitals, extended care facilities and private and public health agencies.

The staff is composed of the head, pulmonologist who are certified fellow and diplomate of the Philippine College of Physicians and Philippine College of Chest Physicians and lecture in the program of these particularly in the continuing education. The therapists and technicians are highly trained and member of the Association of Respiratory Care Practitioner of the Philippines.

It has the latest techniques and advance equipments such as the spirometer, arterial blood
gas machine, mechanical ventilators (neonate, pediatric and adult), pulse oximeters, IPPB machine, nebulizers, peak flow meters.

For out-patient services, inhalation therapy and spirometry studies are done from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
